If the PerfectDisk 12.5 Console computer doesn't have access to the internet, please follow the instructions below in order to deploy PerfectDisk 12.5clients.
- Using a computer other than the Console computer, download one or more of the PerfectDisk 12.5 clients that you wish to deploy:
* PerfectDisk Professional
* PerfectDisk Server
* PerfectDisk vSphere Guest
* PerfectDisk Hyper-V Guest
* PerfectDisk Hyper-V Host
- Copy the downloaded files to the Console computer
- In the Console left hand Action pane, select Deploying and follow the Deployment Wizard to Step 5 - PerfectDisk Client Type
- Note the PerfectDisk client distribution directory (i.e. C:\Program Files\Raxco\PD12.5ConsoleInstall) and then Cancel the Deployment Wizard and then close the Console GUI
- In the PerfectDisk client distribution directory, create the following folders (if they do not already exist) for the clients that you plan on deploying:
PerfectDisk125_Professional
PerfectDisk125_Server
PerfectDisk125_vSphere_Guest
PerfectDisk125_HyperV_Guest
PerfectDisk125_HyperV_Host
- For each PerfectDisk Client that you have downloaded, run to extract the installation files. When prompted for the location to extract the installation files, browse to the appropriate folder above. For example, PerfectDisk Pro extract to C:\Program Files\Raxco\PD125ConsoleInstall\PerfectDisk125_Professional. After the files have been extracted, cancel the installation.
- After all the desired PerfectDisk 12.5 Client installation files have been extracted, download PD125ClientImport.zip and extract the PDClientImport.reg file. This file contains registry information that tells the Console what PD12.5 Clients are available for deployment. Double click to add this registry information.
- Run the Console and in the Console left hand Action pane, select Deploying and follow the Deployment Wizard to Step 5 - PerfectDisk Client Type
- The pull down list of Clients should now reflect the clients available to deploy along with a build number
